Renovation of a Duplex Apartment

This project involved a full-scale renovation of a multi-level apartment, with the objective of creating a calm, contemporary living environment defined by clarity of space, refined detailing, and durable materials. The design approach focused on functional zoning, visual continuity between levels, and a restrained, elegant aesthetic suitable for long-term living.

• Comprehensive Interior Reconstruction
  The apartment was completely reconfigured and finished from shell condition, including new partitions, engineering systems, and interior finishes, ensuring a cohesive architectural and technical solution throughout all levels.

• Spatial Zoning Across Levels
  Clearly defined public and private zones were organized across multiple floors. The lower level accommodates the main living areas, while upper levels are reserved for private rooms, ensuring comfort and functional separation.

• Custom Staircase and Glass Railings
  Designed and installed a bespoke internal staircase with solid wood treads and frameless glass balustrades, providing visual lightness while maintaining safety and architectural continuity.

• Living Areas with Natural Light
  Large window openings and sliding balcony doors were emphasized to maximize daylight, enhance spatial depth, and strengthen the connection between interior spaces and the urban surroundings.

• Kitchen and Utility Spaces
  Executed a fully integrated kitchen with built-in cabinetry, concealed appliances, and durable stone worktops. Additional utility and storage areas were designed to remain visually discreet while highly functional.

• Bathroom Design
  Bathrooms were finished with large-format porcelain tiles, walk-in glass showers, and custom vanity units with integrated lighting. The design prioritizes clarity, ease of maintenance, and a spa-like atmosphere.

• Ceiling and Lighting Concept
  Developed a unified ceiling design featuring recessed lighting, concealed air-conditioning diffusers, and soft perimeter illumination to create balanced, comfortable light scenarios throughout the apartment.

• Flooring and Material Selection
  Installed high-quality wood-effect flooring in living areas and bedrooms, paired with stone and tile finishes in wet zones. The material palette combines warm neutral tones with matte surfaces for a timeless interior character.

• Built-In Storage Solutions
  Designed and executed custom wardrobes, wall panels, and storage units to maintain clean lines and minimize visual clutter while maximizing usable space.

• Overall Aesthetic
  The interior is defined by a modern, understated aesthetic—soft neutral colors, precise detailing, and consistent materials—resulting in a calm, elegant, and highly functional residential environment.
