We updated this bathroom with a clean, modern layout and low-maintenance finishes. The goal was to make the space brighter, easier to use every day, and more cohesive from shower to vanity.
What We Did
-
Installed a walk-in shower with a clear glass panel for an open, spacious feel.
-
Finished the shower walls with white subway tile and added built-in niches for storage.
-
Used a bold hex-tile floor (and matching hex mosaic in the shower) to add contrast and durability.
-
Added a freestanding tub to bring a simple “spa” look without cluttering the room.
-
Upgraded to matte black fixtures and hardware for a modern, consistent finish.
-
Installed a double vanity with warm wood cabinetry for more storage and daily convenience.
-
Added two separate mirrors and clean lighting to improve function at the sink area.
-
Refreshed walls/ceiling and improved lighting (including recessed lights) to brighten the room.
Result
The bathroom now feels bright and modern, with a strong black-and-white palette, warmer wood tones, and a more practical setup—double sinks, better storage, and a shower/tub combination that fits both daily use and relaxing.
