The design respects the sloped roof geometry while maximizing usability, storage, and natural daylight to create a focused yet comfortable environment for work and study.

Custom Built-In Desk Layout
Designed and installed a wall-to-wall built-in desk that follows the attic’s geometry, providing generous work surfaces while maintaining a clean and uncluttered visual flow. -
Integrated Sloped Storage Shelving
Created bespoke open shelving within the angled wall to maximize vertical space. The shelves offer practical storage for books and decor while highlighting the architectural character of the attic. -
Warm Wood Finishes
Used natural wood tones for cabinetry, shelving, and desk surfaces to introduce warmth and balance against the neutral walls and ceiling. -
Concealed LED Lighting
Installed integrated LED strip lighting beneath shelves to provide soft, even illumination for the workspace while enhancing depth and visual comfort. -
Optimized Natural Light
Positioned workstations beneath roof windows to take full advantage of daylight, improving comfort and reducing the need for artificial lighting during daytime hours. -
Minimalist Furniture Selection
Paired the built-in elements with lightweight, black-framed chairs to maintain a visually light and modern aesthetic. -
Light Wood Flooring
Installed pale wood flooring to visually expand the space and create continuity with the built-in furniture. -
Clean Neutral Palette
Finished walls and ceilings in soft neutral tones to enhance brightness and keep the focus on function, light, and material quality.
