This kitchen was transformed from a dark, dated space with limited character into a bright, functional, and personality-filled kitchen. The goal was to modernize the layout, improve storage and workflow, and introduce bold finishes that bring warmth, charm, and a fresh coastal-inspired feel.
What We Changed
• Updated the cabinetry with clean, modern finishes to replace heavy, dated wood cabinets and visually open the space.

• Replaced old countertops with a sleek, durable surface for improved functionality and contrast.
• Added a custom wood island and breakfast table to increase prep space and create a casual dining area.
• Introduced open shelving to lighten the space and provide practical, accessible storage.
• Upgraded appliances to stainless steel for a cohesive, modern look.
• Installed statement pendant lighting and recessed fixtures to improve brightness and highlight key areas.
• Refined the layout under the staircase to better integrate the kitchen with the surrounding living space.
