The original kitchen was closed in, visually heavy, and limited in both storage and workspace. This renovation focused on opening the room up, improving function, and updating every surface with clean, durable materials.
What We Did

Removed portions of existing walls and cabinetry to open up the kitchen and improve connection to adjacent living areas.

Reconfigured the layout to center the kitchen around a large island, providing additional prep space, seating, and storage.

Installed new cabinetry with a combination of light perimeter cabinets and a darker island base to add contrast without overpowering the space.

Replaced countertops with durable, low-maintenance quartz surfaces to improve usability and brightness.

Updated appliances and repositioned them for better workflow between sink, range, and refrigerator.

Added a simple tile backsplash and updated lighting to improve task visibility and overall balance.

Refinished or replaced flooring to tie the kitchen visually into the rest of the home.
The finished kitchen is brighter, more open, and far more practical for everyday use, with a layout that supports both cooking and gathering.
