For this full kitchen renovation, our team delivered a complete transformation that turned an outdated and closed-off space into a bright, modern, and highly functional kitchen. The remodel included full demolition, layout reconfiguration, upgraded electrical and plumbing systems, custom cabinetry, premium appliances, and all-new finishes for a cohesive and contemporary design.

Renovation Details

Full Demolition & Space Preparation
All existing cabinetry, countertops, appliances, flooring, backsplash, and lighting fixtures were removed. Several wall sections were opened to support the new layout. Surfaces were leveled, reinforced, and prepared to ensure proper installation of cabinetry, island framing, and new finishes.

Layout Reconfiguration & Structural Adjustments
The kitchen layout was redesigned to create an open-concept flow between the kitchen, dining, and entry spaces. Appliance locations were repositioned, the island was enlarged, and walkways were widened. Structural framing was adjusted where needed to support the expanded island and new storage features.

Electrical Upgrades & New Lighting
The electrical system was updated with new wiring, circuits, outlets, and switches. Recessed LED ceiling lights were installed throughout, along with pendant lighting above the island and dining table. Under-cabinet lighting was added to improve visibility and highlight the countertops.

Plumbing Improvements & Appliance Connections
Plumbing lines were upgraded and relocated to accommodate the new sink and dishwasher placement. Water supply and drainage lines were modernized, and all appliances—including refrigerator, dishwasher, and wine fridge—were professionally connected for optimal performance.

Flooring Replacement
The old floor was removed and replaced with wide-plank hardwood that runs continuously through the kitchen and adjoining areas. The new flooring provides warmth, durability, and a seamless visual transition between spaces.

Custom Cabinetry Installation
New two-tone custom cabinetry was installed, including full-height upper cabinets, deep storage drawers, soft-close hardware, and integrated refrigerator panels. Additional built-in features include open wood shelving, a pantry wall, and a custom mudroom bench with cubbies and wall hooks.

Quartz Countertops & Oversized Island
All countertops were replaced with premium white quartz, including a thick-edge slab on the expanded kitchen island. The island now offers generous preparation space, a built-in sink area, and seating for up to five, making it both functional and visually striking.

Backsplash & Wall Finishes
A modern tile backsplash was installed along the perimeter counters, while a vertically stacked tile accent wall was added behind the open shelving. All walls were repaired, smoothed, primed, and repainted in a palette that complements the cabinetry and flooring.

Premium Appliance Installation
A complete suite of upgraded appliances was installed, including a built-in oven and microwave combination, a gas cooktop with a custom hood enclosure, an integrated refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a wine refrigerator. Each appliance was fitted into custom cabinetry for a sleek, seamless appearance.

Mudroom & Entry Enhancements
The adjacent entry area was upgraded with a custom bench, organizational cubbies, decorative trim, and matching finishes. This zone provides functional everyday storage while visually connecting to the kitchen design.

Doors, Trim & Finishing Carpentry
All trim, baseboards, and casings were replaced or refinished. The double French doors were repainted, and decorative island paneling was added to enhance architectural character. New hardware was installed throughout for a cohesive look.

Final Styling, Accessories & Hardware
To complete the remodel, new hardware, bar stools, shelving décor, plants, and organizational elements were added. These finishing touches unify the space and enhance its inviting, contemporary atmosphere.
