Apartment Home Office & Bedroom Renovation

For this home office renovation, our team completed a comprehensive interior upgrade that transformed the space into a modern, functional work area. The project included finish demolition, wall and ceiling reconstruction, electrical upgrades, custom built-in cabinetry, and new flooring for a clean and cohesive result.

Renovation Details

Selective Demolition & Preparation
Existing finishes and outdated elements were selectively removed. All surfaces were prepared for new construction, including wall leveling, patching, and substrate preparation to ensure proper installation of new finishes and built-in components.

Wall Finishing & Painting
All walls were repaired, skim-coated, and painted in neutral tones to create a smooth, uniform surface. The updated wall finishes provide a clean backdrop that complements the dark cabinetry and enhances natural and artificial lighting.

Ceiling Construction & LED Lighting
A recessed ceiling detail was constructed to accommodate indirect LED cove lighting. The lighting system provides even ambient illumination while maintaining a minimalist appearance with concealed fixtures.

Electrical Upgrades
Electrical wiring was updated to support a dedicated workspace. New outlets were installed near the desk area, and lighting circuits were configured for both ambient and task lighting to meet functional requirements.

Custom Built-In Cabinetry
Custom wall-mounted upper cabinets and lower storage units were fabricated and installed. The cabinetry features a dark wood veneer finish and integrated hardware, providing ample storage while maintaining a flush, built-in appearance.

Desk & Work Surface Installation
A custom desk was installed and securely integrated into the layout, creating a permanent and functional work surface aligned with the cabinetry and electrical access points.

Flooring Installation
The existing flooring was replaced with large-format polished tile, offering durability and ease of maintenance. A defined workspace area was completed with an area rug to improve comfort and acoustics.

Window Treatment Installation
A ceiling-mounted curtain track system was installed, followed by full-height blackout curtains and sheer panels. The system allows for adjustable light control while keeping all hardware concealed within the ceiling recess.

Final Fit-Out & Completion
All installed elements were aligned, adjusted, and inspected. The space was delivered fully finished and ready for use as a modern home office with durable materials and precise construction detailing.
