This project was a subtle refresh rather than a full transformation. The goal was to gently update the apartment, improve everyday usability, and give the space a cleaner, more current look — without changing its overall layout or character.

What We Updated

• Refreshed the kitchen finishes to make the space feel cleaner and more cohesive.

• Updated cabinetry and hardware while keeping the existing layout intact.

• Replaced countertops and backsplash for a lighter, more modern surface.

• Added a simple island to improve functionality without overpowering the space.

• Adjusted lighting to create a brighter, more even feel throughout the kitchen area.

Result

The apartment retains its original loft character, but feels fresher and more comfortable to use. Changes were intentionally minimal — focused on updating key elements rather than reinventing the space. The result is a clean, understated improvement that blends naturally into the existing interior.
