This apartment went from “basic and flat” to a cozy, high-function home with a strong wood-and-black theme, layered lighting, and custom built-ins in almost every key zone.
What We Did
-
Full carpentry package: feature slat walls, TV wall, display niches, and concealed storage.
-
Living room upgrade: custom media console + wood wall panels, track lighting, and a darker ceiling for contrast.
-
Ceiling + lighting redesign: cove lighting, recessed downlights, and a clean central feature to sharpen the space.
-
Kitchen refresh: sleek cabinetry, upgraded worktop/backsplash feel, under-cabinet lighting, and better task layout.
-
Island/bar zone: built a compact peninsula/island with seating to add everyday dining and prep space.
-
Balcony dining conversion: turned the enclosed balcony into a bright dining nook with a ceiling fan and comfortable seating.
-
Bedroom styling: warm wood headboard wall with integrated lighting, plus a clean built-in wardrobe wall for a calmer look.
-
Bathroom renovation: large-format wall tiles, modern vanity with storage, mirror cabinet, and a glass shower screen.
-
Finishes: consistent wood flooring/wood-look surfaces to connect rooms and make the apartment feel larger.
Result
The finished home feels warmer, more premium, and way more practical. The wood detailing (especially the slat walls) adds texture without clutter, while the black accents and layered lighting give it a sharp, modern edge. Storage is now built-in and intentional, and the balcony dining area becomes a true “extra room” instead of wasted space.
