This project began with a house that had good bones but no clarity. The spaces felt disconnected, the finishes were tired, and the home didn’t reflect how people actually live today.
Design Direction
Rather than chasing trends, the focus was on simplicity, flow, and restraint. Walls were opened where it made sense, sightlines were improved, and materials were chosen to feel calm, durable, and timeless.
The kitchen became the anchor of the home, designed for daily use but flexible enough for gathering. Bathrooms were stripped back and rebuilt with clean lines and straightforward finishes. Bedrooms were kept quiet and uncluttered.
Key Moves
-
Reworked the interior flow to connect kitchen, dining, and living spaces.
-
Introduced consistent flooring and finishes to unify the home.
-
Rebuilt bathrooms with simple tile, modern fixtures, and better light.
-
Updated the exterior to give the house a clear, confident presence.
Final Result
The finished home feels intentional and easy to live in. Nothing is overly styled, nothing is wasted. It’s brighter, more functional, and far more comfortable — a house that finally feels like a home.
