For this renovation project, we conducted a comprehensive transformation of the space, focusing on efficient use of square footage while improving both functionality and aesthetics. The project involved partitioning the existing open plan with vertical panels to define distinct zones, replacing flooring, and upgrading finishes to provide a modern and high-quality environment.

Renovation Details

Demolition & Space Division
The space underwent full demolition of existing structures and finishes. Vertical partition panels were installed to divide the open-plan space into separate zones, effectively creating a functional layout for both working and relaxing areas. The panels were mounted on a metal frame and covered with high-quality finishing materials.

New Flooring Installation
The old flooring was removed and replaced with a modern, durable, water-resistant tile. The tiles were laid over a levelled subfloor to ensure uniformity and stability. The new floor enhances the aesthetic appeal and is designed to withstand heavy traffic while providing a contemporary look.

Wall Repair & Finishing
All walls were fully repaired, with cracks and holes patched and the surface smoothed to ensure a perfect finish. A high-quality, durable paint was applied, which not only brightens the space but also adds a modern, cohesive look throughout the rooms. Neutral tones were chosen to amplify the light and create a calming atmosphere.

Electrical & Lighting Upgrades
Electrical wiring was upgraded to meet modern standards. Recessed LED lights were installed in the ceiling, providing optimal illumination for both work and living areas. Additional task lighting was strategically placed to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal, and all fixtures are energy-efficient.

Furniture & Storage Integration
Custom-built furniture pieces were introduced to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the space. A modern desk was installed in the working zone, along with modular shelving units and built-in cabinets to maximize storage space and minimize clutter.

Decorative Touches
We added select decorative accents, including contemporary artwork, plants, and functional accessories that complement the modern design of the space. These elements enhance the overall ambiance while maintaining a streamlined, clean look.

Baseboards, Trim & Hardware
New baseboards, trim, and hardware were installed to give the space a finished, polished appearance. The trim was chosen to match the overall aesthetic of the renovation, and high-quality hardware was used to ensure durability and longevity.
